Coalition for Equality and Gender on 11th May 2021, brings together fifteen (15) participants from amongst its membership for a day training on financial management advocacy and fundraising.
The workshop took place at the Coalition National Secretarial 79 Pademba road Freetown.
The objective of the training was to build the capacity of members to be effective in their financial management , advocacy and fundraising activities.
In the financial management capacity building training, the following topics were covered:
- Definition of financial management
- Financial management process
- Importance of financial management
- Who is responsible for financial management?
- Principle of financial management
- Four building blocks of financial management
- Financial and management accounting
In his presentation , Mr. Faud A. Kanu informed participants that in advocacy , one must understand and master the following steps :
- Advocacy issues, root cause and identifying your evidence based
- Advocacy goals and objectives.
- Decision makers and influencers
- Oppositions and obstacles
- Advocacy strengths, limitations and partnership,
- advocacy work planning and messaging
- Measuring advocacy progress and adaptive management, next steps
Formation des membres de la Coalition sur la gestion financière, le plaidoyer et la collecte de fonds
Coalition for Equality and Gender le 11 mai 2021, réunit quinze (15) participants parmi ses membres pour une journée de formation sur le plaidoyer et la collecte de fonds en gestion financière.
L’atelier a eu lieu au Secrétariat National de la Coalition 79 route Pademba Freetown.
L’objectif de la formation était de renforcer les capacités des membres à être efficaces dans leurs activités de gestion financière, de plaidoyer et de collecte de fonds.
Dans la formation sur le renforcement des capacités de gestion financière, les sujets suivants ont été abordés :
- Définition de la gestion financière
- Processus de gestion financière
- Importance de la gestion financière
- Qui est responsable de la gestion financière?
- Principe de gestion financière
- Quatre éléments constitutifs de la gestion financière
- Comptabilité financière et de gestion
Dans sa présentation , M. Faud A. Kanu a informé les participants qu’en plaide, il faut comprendre et maîtriser les étapes suivantes :
- Problèmes de plaidoyer, cause première et identification de vos preuves
- Buts et objectifs du plaidoyer.
- Décideurs et influenceurs
- Oppositions et obstacles
- Forces, limites et partenariat du plaidoyer,
- planification du travail de plaidoyer et messagerie
- Mesurer les progrès du plaidoyer et la gestion adaptative, prochaines étapes
