Setting up a system for documentation of human rights violations and abuses

Coalition for Equality and Gender had earlier developed a human rights documentation tool to help in tracking human rights violations and abuses, which is used to hold government and state institutions accountable with regards respect to basic and fundamental human rights as enshrined in many international human rights documents which the government is signatory and had been ratified by the national legislature. This tool was developed during the Leadership Development Program workshop held for human right organizations protecting the rights of SOGIES . The tool was introduced to participants who were also asked to make their input to fit the national context during the training.
